Of the Tombeaux for Monsieur Blancrocher composed by four of his friends on his sudden death, Froberger's version seems to be the most personal as the latter supposedly witnessed Blancrocher's falling down a flight of stairs and Blancrocher supposedly died in Froberger's arms. Falling down stairs can turn your life upside down if you're lucky enough that it doesn't kill you. No fun at all...

Haven't listened to hang for a while. Thanks for reminding. One little thing though: The inventors of the instrument specifically don't like them being called hang drum. Go and check the bottom part of the letter below:
