ajyanowitz
I love my Aurender N100. All worked well with a very easy learning curve until I recently replaced my older Ipad for a new Ipad Mini, V4. Now, when the Ipad goes inactive, I must on restarting it, go to set up and restore my Tidal username and password. Then it works fine until I need to make the Ipad mini active again. The Aurender app is otherwise working perfectly. In other words, it forgets the username and password as soon as the Ipad goes to sleep. Any suggested fixes? Thank you. Alan Link to comment

Alan Hi Alan, Are you using any special characters as your password? Quotes, forward or backward slashes, etc. may be the culprit. If so, change your password. @, # and some others should be OK, but check them. Brian Walsh Analog Expert / Showroom Manager Music Direct Link to comment

This just started a couple of days ago. Worked great for a month before that. No system changes that I am aware of. Alan Link to comment

The current version is 4.4.58. Try that because there were some bug fixes regarding TIDAL passwords. Also check that you have the current iPad Conductor app version, currently 2.5.33. ajyanowitz
Thank you Brian. I upgraded both the system software and the Conductor app. Problem seems to be fixed. Upgrading to the N100 and the Exogal Dac was a wonderful move. The have added a great deal to my enjoyment of music. I appreciate your assistance. Alan Link to comment
Rick U
Along those lines. I received my new n100 yesterday. I'm now waiting to buy a new iPad. Now is not a good time to buy a new iPad. I was thinking about bowering I an iPad Air to get it all set up. When the new ones become available, I could just switch. Is switching iPads starting at square one? You can restore a backup of your old iPad onto your new iPad. The best approach is to actually save an encrypted backup of your old iPad, then restore the encrypted backup onto the new one. The advantage you gain is that any passwords you've saved in apps should be preserved in your backup. You won't have to re-enter them on the new iPad. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT205220 Digital: Sonore opticalModule > Uptone EtherRegen > Shunyata Sigma Ethernet > Antipodes K30 > Shunyata Omega USB > Gustard X26pro DAC < Mutec REF10 SE120 Amp & Speakers: Spectral DMA-150mk2 > Aerial 10T Foundation: Stillpoints Ultra, Shunyata Denali v1 and Typhon x1 power conditioners, Shunyata Delta v2 and QSA Lanedri Gamma Revelation and Infinity power cords, QSA Lanedri Gamma Revelation XLR interconnect, Shunyata Sigma Ethernet, MIT Matrix HD 60 speaker cables, GIK bass traps, ASC Isothermal tube traps, Stillpoints Aperture panels, Quadraspire SVT rack, PGGB 256 Link to comment

Then I'll reset the iPad and start as new for myself. When I buy my own, I'll do encrypted of the borrowed iPad so I can transfer over everything. Then I should be able to restore her iPad from her back up, right? Link to comment
