Would like to upgrade from iTunes but need to sync and play on an iPhone

I currently use iTunes as my media manager, my family has requested access to my media files so i signed up for iTunes Match. But, I want to keep my original high end Lossles files. Is there a media manager software that has a media player for iPhone? I'm hoping to replicate the usability of iTunes but with a better, cleaner media manager.

Try Banshee music player. You can get it for Windows, Mac and Linux.

Try J. River Media Center and Remote. JRemote can stream full res to your phone, though to play it at full res you need to attach a DAC that can do that. The iFi iDSD Nano is a good choice, as are a half dozen other similar DACs.

 

As a side benefit, you can still run iTunes on the same media files to stream for your family.
