goldsdad
why do i need 4k video on such a tiny device? The devices don't have a 4K screen; they can output 4K video to a connected external display. Link to comment
completeluxury
and how much REAL 4k content can you store on 64 gb? nevermind the fact that there is stuff all in 4k at the moment anyway. 1 min of 4k is approx 5gb so you can have 12 minutes of 4k content on there... good idea! Link to comment

I expect the idea is to stream 4K content, probably in H.265 format, rather than store 4K video in the device. Link to comment
MiddlemanOne
Just letting you guys know the Seiun campaign will be ending in about 32 hours time. They added a few number of perks over the last few weeks, including an upgrade from 64GB to 128GB on the Pro X for around $20, and their Impact Dura in-ear phones for $10 (amongst other things). If you wanna add perks now's the time... https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/seiun-players-hi-res-audio-meets-4k-video/x/6426192#/ Link to comment
MiddlemanOne
Just a reminder there's only about 4 hours left to this campaign! And the total now is over $480K, reaching nearly half a mil. If it goes over $500K, they are promising a multimedia dock for the Pro X for the stretch goals. And one major thing I also forgot to mention is the Seiun Pro X can also accept Micro SDXC cards up to 128GB, theoretically giving it 256GB of whopping space once its fully upgraded! Link to comment
