Brondog
Hello my audiophile friends! I have been lately itching to get in my hands a nice SoundBlaster ZXR not for the board but for its ACM (Accessible Audio Control Module). This thing is pretty much a dream of mine coming true: never unplug anything ever again! Do, back to reality and my life again: I have my decent low cost but still awesome Audio-Technica ATH-M40fs with me that serves me nice before I can buy some good sound card and headphones to go with it. Problem is: my M40 jack is a P10! That thing is just gigantic and I need to use an adapter to plug it into my pc. Also, when I want to listen to something in my speakers, I need to unplug that huge thing and guess what: I ended up destroying my jacks. I fixed them but since them my headphones are retired to my drawers because I'm afraid to ruin my jacks again. So I was thinking with myself: Why not make a switcher that I can just press a button on it and switch between my speakers and my headset? I came here first because I believe that there may be something like this available for sale somewhere on the internet. It there isn't, I'll have to go some other subforum and look for people willing to share with me their knowledge on how to make something like this. Anyway, thank you so much for reading this far. Have a wonderful day and please don't bully me on my first thread! Link to comment

They generally carry a line of low-cost boxes that match that description. Or, in the U.S. you can call B&H and they can point you to the areas on their website that have various adapter boxes. Brondog
Can't do that. I need to make a switcher since importing anything to Brazil at the moment is crazy expensive. But thanks for the idea! Link to comment
