Sam Spade
Hi, Just wondering if anyone has tried any of The Rolling Stones FLAC albums from the Stones Archive? Here is the link: Stones Archive The Brussels Affair | Rolling Stones - The Brussels Affair - FLAC Download | Shop the Stones Archive Official Store Are they any good? Is there one that is better than the others? Thanks Link to comment
jackbnimble
I have The Brussels Affair and it's quite good but it is not FLAC. At the time I got it FLAC was not available in the US. I had to get that and the Live Leeds from Google Music. When I followed your link it says that a few of the albums listed are not available to US customers. Strange. If you are a Stones fan Brussels is worth getting. Link to comment

firedog
I have the flac version of The Brussels Affair and it is quite good. You could even argue that it is their best live album (I'm not trying to debate that point, please don't start in ). At one point only the mp3 version was available in the US, I don't know if that's still the case. If so, a proxy server from Europe will probably make the flac available to you. Main listening (small home office): Main setup: Surge protector +>Isol-8 Mini sub Axis Power Strip/Isolation>QuietPC Low Noise Server>Roon (Audiolense DRC)>Stack Audio Link II>Kii Control>Kii Three (on their own electric circuit) >GIK Room Treatments. Secondary Path: Server with Audiolense RC>RPi4 or analog>Cayin iDAC6 MKII (tube mode) (XLR)>Kii Three BXT Bedroom: SBTouch to Cambridge Soundworks Desktop Setup. Living Room/Kitchen: Ropieee (RPi3b+ with touchscreen) + Schiit Modi3E to a pair of Morel Hogtalare. All absolute statements about audio are false Link to comment
