Very happy to receive this recognition.

Warmest congratulations on a well deserved award. Your blog is really a gem. For me it has been of particular help in the area of jazz, where I don't know much and made very nice discoveries thanks to your recommendations.

Extremely well-deserved 'phile.  Your passion is easily seen in your blog!  Great job and thanks for all of the great music that you have exposed me to.

I haven't been active on my blog recently as much as I wanted to, due to extensive business travel, but was just able to publish another entry on one of my very personal favorites:

Nice read! Also an Milstein-admirer here (although there a many nice versions of this fantastic works).

By coincidence, I am listening to Nikoleyeva her version of BWV1004. The sound is not great, but the music is! My other piano-version is Pletnev, but for some  reason, it is not a favorite recording.

Thank you Musciphile for another post on your inspiring blog that always brings interesting learning experiences! I listened to both violin and keyboard version of this oevre - and suddenly remembered Andrés Segovias' transcription for guitar. A few years back during a holiday trip to Andalusia, Spain I managed to find a version that was not quit to my liking. Back home in Sweden I started the earch for a better version and found this - last night's Album of the evening: Andrés Segovia - The Segovia Collection Vol 1 (All Bach Program). The CD is from 1987 but you can still find it on Amazon.

Not violin nor keyboard, but still well sounding and enjoyable music from a master of his instrument.
