miggyboys
Hi everyone! I have this setup: Vortexbox (Flac files) > Ethernet > Logitech Squeezebox Touch > Digital Coaxial > Audiolab M-DAC > NAD C350 amplifier. Is my Vortexbox or Logitech Squeezebox Touch clocking my files? Or are both? Any idea how I can check? I'm going to be trying Asynchronous USB from the Logitech Squeezebox Touch to my Audiolab M-DAC but it could be pointless if my Vortexbox has already clocked the Flac file. If this is the case, then would I have to do this: Vortexbox (Flac files) > USB > A new streamer with 2 x USB in/out > USB > Audiolab M-DAC OR Could I leave the ethernet from the Vortexbox? Vortexbox (Flac files) > ethernet > Logitech Squeezebox Touch > USB > Audiolab M-DAC Thanks in advance for your input! miggyboys
Thanks Johann - I presume I can change this buy using USB between the SBT and Audiolab M-DAC? johann
An async USB DAC uses the DAC clock to reconstruct the stream, so yes. Link to comment
