HQ player settings with iFI Micro DSD

Either one can be used, based on preferences. NS5 doesn't work so well for lower rates, because it needs more spectrum space.

 

But I would just stick to DSD with iFi micro iDSD and forget PCM. And remember that if you use PCM at 705.6/768, after DAC power up / computer boot you need to first play either something at lower PCM rate or DSD before switching to 705.6/768 PCM rate. Otherwise the DAC behaves incorrectly due to some firmware bug.
