Ahmed Nihal Noufel
I am looking for a new pair of headphones and I am confused with either going with the audiotechnica ath m50x or the Harman Kardon HARKAR-NC. Some might say the HK is more priced but funny enough they both are $180 at amazon.in I mostly listen to Metal/Hard rock also anything thats good Link to comment
maelob
If you don't need noise canceling I would go for the audio technicas if you travel a lot then the Harmans Link to comment

maelob
Audio technicas are excellent all around headphones. You will not go wrong. Link to comment
flatmap
I haven't heard the Harman Kardon's, so I can't compare. However, I've found the M50s to be very durable overall. The one exception is that the pleather ear pads lose their smoothness over time. 2013 MacBook Pro Retina -> {Pure Music | Audirvana} -> {Dragonfly Red v.1} -> AKG K-702 or Sennheiser HD650 headphones.
