dbpoweramp - Should I feel safe about this?

Recommended Posts

Not sure if I should just move on, re-rip or stop here? First time I get such a situation. Is either all accurate or all safe, not mixed.

Your rip is fine. Basically it's telling you they don't have identical rips in their database. Happens. Not all CDs of the same album are exactly the same - there can be slightly different versions of the CD in production, even if they sound and seem identical.

You can also get a result like this if the CD is slightly dirty or scratched. You will still get a bit perfect rip, but the rip won't be identical to what's in the database. Cleaning the CD might change the result to be more to your liking.

Main listening (small home office):

Main setup: Surge protector +>Isol-8 Mini sub Axis Power Strip/Isolation>QuietPC Low Noise Server>Roon (Audiolense DRC)>Stack Audio Link II>Kii Control>Kii Three (on their own electric circuit) >GIK Room Treatments.

Secondary Path: Server with Audiolense RC>RPi4 or analog>Cayin iDAC6 MKII (tube mode) (XLR)>Kii Three BXT

Bedroom: SBTouch to Cambridge Soundworks Desktop Setup.
Living Room/Kitchen: Ropieee (RPi3b+ with touchscreen) + Schiit Modi3E to a pair of Morel Hogtalare.

All absolute statements about audio are false :)
