mwheelerk
The best response would be from someone who has owned and compared both products and I would assume that is a limited pool. I lived with and appreciated the Bel Canto 1.5 for over two years. It was a very solidly built and performing product. My only opinion on the Oppo and only my opinion is I generally feel a purpose built product specific to a task in the same price range as a more all purpose product should exceed that all purpose product in that singular task. When you are dealing with roughly the same dollars ($1199 and $1395) something has to give somewhere in component quality or implementation. "A mind is like a parachute.
