APinkFreud
I am halfway through the CAPS v3 build and noticed i ordered the SOtM tX-USB Audiophile PCI to USB Audio Card when I should have ordered the SOtM tX-USBexp version. Even though the web site was somewhat confusing he policy of the company is "no returns". Does anyone know of a riser that would allow this PCI card to work with the Intel DN2800MT motherboard or a out $300. Thanks for some help Link to comment

Audio_ELF
Have you actually asked the company if you can return it...? If you explain the situation they may be reasonable. Other than that you'll have to sell it on and order the correct one. Eloise --- ...in my opinion / experience... While I agree "Everything may matter" working out what actually affects the sound is a trickier thing. And I agree "Trust your ears" but equally don't allow them to fool you - trust them with a bit of skepticism. keep your mind open... But mind your brain doesn't fall out. Link to comment

4est
PCI or PCIe? If it is unopened, I have a hard time imagining them not exchanging it if you explain. If you have opened it and installed, that is another thing. If the condition is pristine, ie. could be resold, I would get in contact to arrange an exchange. Obviously you would need to pay postage.... Good luck!
