MemoryPlayer
Hi Guys, How to split multi-channel and stereo DSD tracks in an iso image? With almost 500 SACD saved in my hard drive, if I can save only stereo ones, I will save a lot of space, and my DAC plays only stereo, so I don't want have saved multi-channel tracks! Thanks, MemoryPlayer Link to comment
asiufy
You could rip them into DSF/DSDIFF files. I believe there will be no loss in quality, and you'll end up with only 2ch files. Link to comment

Thanks, MemoryPlayer MemoryPlayer, How do you have 500 SACDs saved to your hard drive? You must have ripped them via the PS3 hack, right? Well, my guide (and any other notes I've seen) ALWAYS includes what to do next; that is, extraction. It won't save any space, however, as you'll want to keep/archive the ISOs anyway (maybe offline storage). But at least you'll have the DSF stereo layer extracted for your DAC (along with the metadata/tags). PM me and I can set you straight, but it is very surprising you don't already have these tools if you know how to rip DSD. "We're all bozos on this bus"....F.T. MemoryPlayer
Is this a case of not RTFM? LoL What means RTFM? A friend of mine ripped around 300 SACD of my own and 200 from him, but he left our country and I lost him contact. I really don't know how to rip and I neither have a PS3! If there is a Mac application for do that I'll be very grateful. Thanks anyway. Link to comment
