Out of all these cards by E-MU... Which one is the best for playback and recording?

Also the 0202, 0204, and Fast Track MobilePre are usb powered. I'm not sure if this is relevant to you or not. Some folks prefer the separate power supply.

the 0404 is very "famous" for the prize ...

a very very good alternative, better in every way, more expensive though, is the TC Electronic Impact Twin. Especially if you are using a mac (it's f/wire interface)!!!
