Phraenque
I bought BitPerfect, but my OSX is not capelble to play integers. This is info when using BP. Is there any sense using BP in my situation? Raym87
Keep your eye on this thread http://www.computeraudiophile.com/f11-software/bitperfect-7934/ Tim is working on an update which, as I understand, will allow the use of integer mode in Lion. I'm using it in Lion and it sounds good to me. MacMini 8Gb OSX > Pure Music / Bitperfect / Amarra / iTunes > Synology DS215J NAS > Schiit Wyrd > Stello U3 > Naim Uniti Atom, Harbeth P3ESR. Meier Corda Arietta Headphone Amp > Sennhieser HD650 Phones (Cardas rewire). Isol-8 Powerline Axis. Isotek GII Orion Power Conditioner. Cardas Clear USB Cable. Tellurium Q Black Speaker Cable. All other cables by Mark Grant. Vinyl still has it's place. Technics SL1200. Modified with Mike New Bearing, KAB Strobe Disable, MCRU 2 box PSU, Isonoe Feet, SME M2-9 Tonearm > Goldring 2400 >Rothwell Simplex Phonostage. Link to comment

I see no point in homogenizing all my music to 16 / 44 or whatever rate Audio MIDI is set to at the time - BitPerfect (and any of the other alternative OS X players) do automatic rate switching, and I appreciate that functionality whether I'm using integer mode or not.
