The Beat announced plans to release both a new single-disc best-of and a 5CD box set featuring the band’s three albums and two discs of bonus material. Have got B.P.M.: Beats Per Minute: The Very Best Of The Beat which I brought about 10 years ago(maybe more) is regularly on my play-lists. There a lot of stuff in the box set, which isn't on the Best of, that I haven't heard for years. Always like the album Wha’ppen. Also like the look of the 12″ & Dub Versions and the John Peel sessions. Looks like I may invest as well. It sounds great, and looks like they didn't "improve" the releases with loudness.
