DSF (the DSD files from an ISO extrcation, or downloaded from a music site) can be tagged as they are ID3V2 compliant. ISO tags are not complaint, nor are DFF. Not sure what is meant by DSS...

DSF tags can be managed and edited in JRIver (it is one of the main reasons I extract to DSF rather than DIFF). I have a whole thread about it.

In both cases it is destructive; just one does not require you to store redundant PCM and DSD libraries. No one is recommending deleting the original DSD files.

Yes, Kevin M, I was describing two issues: your issue (hitting the PS3 key to easily fix the X key no response) and another more difficult one (ripping blindly without GUI progress screen).

Keep in mind that Jason (northeastohpcs) does not have a lot of SACD ripping experience yet. But I do :) and I can tell you (and warn of it in my guide) that hitting the PS3 key and then going back...
