  1. Version 1.3.9.3, using MacBook Pro Snow Leapard 10.6.8, prog seem to work flawless except when switching from standard red book files to a high resolution file produce white noise, remedy is to restart Audirvana, it will switch from high resolution to low with no issues but always fail( white noise) when switching from standard 16:44 to any high resolution file.
  2. Try Audirvana music software, compared to pure music, amarra, and BitPerfect, using Weiss dac202,connected with Audiophileo2 USB converter( yes FireWire dac but sounds better with Audiophileo)Audirverna sounds best it gives better bass controll when co pared to Pure Music. My speakers are Wilson Sophia2 which are trully full range speakers.
  3. I previously posted my system Snow Leapard after installing Beta Audiverna 1.3.9.3 it would freeze with error. This was fixed buy deleting all traces of previous Audioverna( I use a prog called AppZapper) restart Mac then install Beta version you must have your liscence file saved it will ask you to re- activate. Beta version now works perfect without any hiccups.Great Prog,Thanks.
  4. I download but prog freeze as soon as a track selected in ITunes this happens weather direct mode, or integer unchecked, I am using 09 MacBook Pro/ Snow Leapard run in 64bit mode. When software installed it replaces old version in application folder????
  5. Nice review, yes i understand based on your system.I could not figure how you interface these e dec's but to get the best from Weiss202 you should use a USB converter preferably Audiophileo1 or 2,using the Weiss firewire interface limits its low frequency extension. The Weiss is tested to have one of the best test results(Stereophile)and it is most versatile can be used as a headphone amp it even lets you choose its output both line level and headphone levels separate and control each independently.
  6. Try using free prog, VNC Lite on your netbook to control your iTunes server. Also use a glass optical cable if you want better sound.Yes I'm a newbie but been there and done it.
  7. Try changing your network wireless security protocol Wep etc,i do not recall which is recommended but i had similar problems and changed my security setting on Main wireles router and password, Airpot Express worked flawlessly thereafter.
  8. My take may not be the best for Macs but cheapest, is to use a airport express connected from computer with ethernet cable then to whatever DAC you choose, Chris could you try this i believe this may bypass the Audi Midi in macs so one less procces. Note you can turn of the wi-fi in the airport express sounds much better than using digital output from computer. My system consist of Krell pre--amp,Tri-Vista dac, and Wilson Sophia, and using a Mac Book pro notebook.
