Thanks, Brian. You use XLR connection? The dp777 has >2v output level (is it trimmable?). So it's OK for JC1/A21 which has 1v input sensitivity for 100w output (1.6v for full output)? Thanks again for your comments. very helpful.

Hi, Ted, Have you compared the preamp performance of Mytek with Zodiac gold or any other your preamp? I'd appreciate your comments on Mytek's analog output section. Another DAC with very good preamp section I have in mind is a quite expensive AMR dp-777. Thanks.

In Asynchronous mode ?

This chip model looks the same as in north star DAC32.

Another question is can I use USB input and then directly XLR output to power amp and using onboard analog volume control? I wonder how it sounds.

Anyone knows what USB 2.0 chip used for the asynchronous mode? Thanks.
