My best buddy has been diagnosed with hemangiosarcoma. He went in for emergency surgery last weekend to remove his spleen and a bleeding tumor on his spleen. From what I've been told, he has about 3-4 months left of a good quality life. So, I figured in the meantime, we listen to the greatest band there ever was.

Excellent analogy, Barry! I never thought of it this way until now. As a professional video engineer and projectionist, I've seen many so-called "projectionists" utilize the digital keystone correction like it was going out of style. No competent professional projectionist would ever be caught using these controls. It is a band-aid, and a really bad one at that. The artifacts and distortions added to the image are not subtle. The fact is, nothing can take the place of proper placement of the projector in relation to the screen.

Thank you. Look forward to some productive conversations and learning a thing or two!

Subscribed today. I'm looking forward to spending much more time here. (as I have decided to spend less time on another "audiophile" site)

A slightly complicated topic. To my knowledge, there are 6 different masterings of this album, including the MFSL and among these are even more pressing variations. The version you want is Barry Diament's mastering. This version is on the Island label, pressed in the USA, catalogue number 90067-2 or 422-811 148-2.

All of my experience with iTunes over the years has been on a PC where the artist/track number/song title all showed up under the Name tab in the library. I will take a more in depth look at iTunes tonight on my MAC. Hopefully, I can configure my screen to look like the one above and my problems will be solved, as iTunes is my preferred player to use. Thanks for the insight.

Let me clarify, by non-existent, I mean there is no way to easily find a specific selection in the iTunes library. Unless I am missing something. I am aware that wav files play fine in iTunes, too bad you can't find them. I liked Foobar2000 because it had the folder structure view incorporated in the player. Instant and easy access for any file type was very convenient. I'm wondering if there is an equivalent program available for a MAC.
