  1. Hello, Where do I find my key needed for upgrading v4 to v5 please? Volume, I am using a RME ADI 2 dac, with an Q405 heavely upgraded and with input voltage now of 1v. This combination means that I still have to lower quite a lot the overall volume, I find that dac volume 0.0db and Hqplayer between -15 and - 22 works best to my ears. When using Hqplayer at -22 does this mean a big loss somewhere in bits ? Thanks!
  2. thank you, done, I tried to google for the manual for the ver5, without luck.
  3. yes, normally I use HQP ver. 4.17.2 and it works with Qobuz
  4. Hello, I wanted to give the 5.0.2 a try, I am allready a very very happy HQP user. I cant get Qobuz to work, all though Qobuz frontside open up without asking any username/password. Any help, please? Jorgen
  5. Does "plays with Audirvana" make any difference when using a windows NUC plauing Qobuz/Audirvana studio to a mRendu/ADI 2 dac ?
  6. Hi Adrian, I use Hqplayer to play my Acourate convolver files in a windows computer over Ravenna to Merging Anubis. The Merging Anubis is clock master. Have you thought of making a clock with a zman module which could function on a Ravenna connected setup?
  7. I would like to know if and where and what kind of differencies in sound, image, dynamic etc. between the 2 dacs Merging Hapi ll and the TA dac 200?
  8. hm a bit late, but I think you dreamed about this one: https://www.apollonaudio.com/product/purifi-1et7040sa-multichannel-amplifier-6-12-channel/
  9. Hi Jesus, Now this thread is 2 years old, where are we today? Anything new or something to add? I have been thinking of this combination for playing Qobuz with Hqplayer and convolving 4channels: Qobuz>Hqplayer convolving 4channels>microRendu>Exasound s88, should this work?
  10. Hi I am using Quads with dipole subs, and I guess this is what you are looking for as well. I had had first analog filters Gradient, since then TactAudio, miniDsp 2x4HD, minDSP SHD. At last now using Acourate and AcourateConvolver. I dont think the Xover ever will be better. You might need Mitcho to help you. Quad amps are good I have them all. plus a lot of other amps. The best for your speakers will be the Benchmark amp.
  11. Hi Chris Nice to hear that you finally got your guitar. Please take care of your body, skin is not the worst. But fingers, wrist and arm could start hurting ! I guess the right teacher will show you the nessesary exercises to do. Jørgen
  12. Wow Chris amazing!! I use a very simple setup compared to your system. Theres just one PC and an Anubis: Audirvana and AcourateConvolver uses ASIO so: Qobuz and local files>Audirvana with upsamling>Acourate Convolver4channels up to 192>Merging Anubis>amp/main speakers and subs What I think could be even more cool would be to have the convolverfilters direct in Audirvana or another playerprogram and then upsample right before sending the data to the Anubis. One question: once you use DSP, you alter the sound to your taste, does it then still make sence to buy a very expensive dac.....what I mean is that I would probably not have bought a pro dac for being used without DSP. Chris you never wrote a review of the Anubis, that would be nice to have your take on this quite special dac with so many possiblities, does it compare to the elite etc. Thanks
  13. wonderfull, please let me know when your Multichannel HLC is availble. These days I am playing with the new Audirvana Studio which to my ears is even more transparent than the previous 3.5. So right now in Audirvana I upscale the stereo signal and sent it to the AcourateConvolver. With your VST3 files the stereo signal goes through the VST3 for being processed and then upscaled right before going to DAC ? if it is an advantage the signal sent to the DAC could then be a DSD or DXD signal? Merging Technologies likes DSD and DXD. Never tried, but in another simple setup I use a RME ADI2 dac and here I prefer PCM to DSD. Best regards, Jorgen
  14. Thanks to Mitch for all his work at Audiophilestyle. This lead me to use Acourate for xover and correction. And I am not looking back! just wonderfull. It looks like Mitch will make a multi channel version in the future. So my question is: will it then with the HLC be possible to use say 4ch VST3 files in Audirvana and making the output routing here to get it to work with the Merging Anubis, as I am doing nowadays with Audirvana>AcourateConvolver>Anubis? if yes, cant wait! Has VST3 as many taps as AcourateConvolver? BR Jorgen
  15. I am an ADI 2 DAC user for a year. I use Aurdivana on a DELL and send the sound to a mR(with Uptone ULTRACAPs) which is then connected with a Uptone USPCB A>B to ADI 2 DAC. I am upscaling in Audirvana and the dac understand whatever comes. Not many words from, it just sounds FANTASTIC!
