  1. Good morning, I would like to play digital music files from iTunes on my Mac to my Arcam AVR-300. The distance from my computer to my Amp/Receiver is approx. 6 meters. My Mac has firewire and usb connection. Here are the options I am looking at: Option A) HRT Music Streamer + . This would require long (or medium length) USB cable to this converter and then analog cables from converter to amp. Or the other way around which would be more expensive as interconnect cables are expensive...The issue with this option is what length does the USB cable need to be in order to maintain the best sound possible? Does anyone recommend good USB cable? What about the analog/interconnect cable? What max. length before its starts losing its edge? Need to make up 6 metres Option B) CEntrance DACport USB line level. Same issue here with USB cable but now I need to connect the output of this converter to my amp. I would need a Y cable I think. Is this a good option versus the balanced interconnect option listed above? Anybody makes a good Y cable? Option C) Utilize Stello U2 USB link. This would mean I would let my AMP/Receiver do the decoding, right? Is that a good option as my Arcam is quite old in the D/A chip world (~5 years, AVR 300)? Same issue with this option on the length/make&model of USB cable and then what about length of coax digital cable or should I utilize the I2S output? what is better? Option D) Go firewire cable straight to my Arcam receiver. Need to somehow convert firewire to something my receiver will be able to handle. How long does firewire cable work good for? Havent really done any reserach on this one... thanks so much in advance for the help
