  1. Because both the motherboard and AC brick were tested individually, I wonder if the issue may be the actual pin connections between the DC jack and plug. Most of the plugs are around 10mm, but some are shorter. Can you compare the length (and interior diameter, if possible) of the plugs on the two bricks you're using? You mentioned that this was a Casetronic brick, but typically the bricks that come with Casetronic cases are branded as "Migrus" and the part number you referenced usually corresponds to an EDAC unit. Could you please PM me with your order number and the exact model number for the AC brick? I'd like to look up the RMA logs for the board and brick, and I'll see if we can replicate your issue here. @StuartH: I believe the jumper you're referring to is JP1, which is used to switch the LVDS inverter from 12v to 5v.
