Good morning I've been attempting to transfer files from a hd to iTunes via max As I am new to using a computer other than Craig's list It's been a adventure... That said is there a way to get iTunes to play flac Other than transferring everything to aiff One of the live shows Bonnie rarity w taj mahal Claimed to be 24/48 is that a possibility? And if so when transferring to max I would need to change settings pending on the recordings yeah... Hoping there is a easier solution ...

I was given this hard drive w a bunch of live shows on it They are mainly flac files .... My freind loaded the vlc player and showed me how to drag the file to vlc and play it I'd like to know the quality of the recording outside of what my ears tell me As well store the shows I like on my iTunes On my new computer based system: Hard drives (not yet purchased)oyen digital 2x1Tb Daisy chained (1 for storage 1 for back up) FireWire 800 Mac mini early 2011? iTunes W amarra sample USB poseidon silver silnote audio Wyred4sound dac2 McIntosh mc2200amp Infinity kappa7s or AR11's I'm curious about how to use my hard drive full o music As well wether to start over with my iTunes full of ripped CDs On my office iMac or to transfer them to one of the new hard drives Thanks brett

I was giving a WD hd 1 TB full of live recordings . They appear to be flac files How can I tell the quality ... Outside of listening to them? Also .. Any tips on storing and playing them w my mac mini waiting to be hooked to my new w4s dac2 . I was taught to play them on my iMac using vlc player But that's on my iMac in office area .... Not thru my Dac>amp> kappa7's

Wow... I've spent more time trying to sort a boat load of information... I'm ready to listen to some music .... Is there a place to purchase 24/96 music that I can trust ... Another words I wouldn't have to understand star trek and what ftt .@(?!);?'l$$&& etc... Like when one used to go buy an album?

I am setting up a new mac mini ... I'm a bit green at this ...so I'm wondering about moving my itunes library on my office imac to the mini...or sharing it via home share or moving my imacs library to a hard drive ,,,I intend on using a 1tb hard drive for storage and one as back up eventually..w firewire.400?or800?
