My question is,are they going to include DSD playback? Pretty much all of Amarras competitors already do this.

Okay, loading DSD files from iTunes was the problem. Loading them directly from their home directory solved the problem, and they now play. One thing though, I am getting the occasional little 'pop' some here have talked about during playback. It sounds like a static charge 'pop' when you touch the volume control on your system, and get a discharge.

Thanks Michael, I bet you're correct. I have been loading the DSD files from the iTunes playlist. I will see what happens when I load from the directory where the DSD files are actually located. Thanks, - Bill

I am unable to play DSD files. All other files play fine. When I select a DSD file in the play list, it indicates the file is loading, and then gives an error. I believe I have the configuration correctly set, but no luck. I have no issues playing DSD files with PM. Using MacBook Pro with Snow Leopard, Playback Designs MPS-5 with USB-X interface.
