Looking to run a DAC in between the iPad/Iphone into the AVR.
My AVR is a Pioneer Elite VSX-40 that came with Apple approved dock output to USB input.
I'm mostly running Spotify off the iPad and into the AVR. Sounds ok. Nothing like my Oppo or Pro-Ject TT. I was a good DAC to help the sound.
I'm thinking of these:
HRT--Istreamer $200
Peachtree DAC *It $449 (Have no read if it will support iPad, assuming it would?
XDA-1 Differential Reference™ Balanced Digital-to-Analog Converter/Digital Preamplifier $299 (Again, not 100% positive it would even work with what I need. (iPad/Spotify/DAC/AVR/Speakers)
Music Fidelity V-DAC
