  1. Received the following unsolicited email from HDTracks: You are one of a few people who have downloaded an unfinished version of the album which was up for testing before release. Please replace it with this version: The correct version of the track is in this link: Wild World - https://www.hdtracks.com/download.php?file=35038182d801612df015d1e4ed9f04d1&fname=03_Wild_World.flac&download_key=6409793890 Have to put a big plus in their consumer relations column for this proactive communication.
  2. Any opinions on the new Steve Earle 192/24?
  3. I guess the audiophile community has no shortage of arrogant dic****ds. If you don't have any good hi-res from HDTracks, then stay off the thread.
  4. Let's stick to responding to the original post request. Other threads exist for discussing HD Track's performance issues. However, as a musician, the graph heads among you might want to consider our studio mantra "Preference, not Reference."
  5. Koln Concert (Keith Jarrett) and Producer's Cut (Emmylou Harris) worked for me.
  6. Hi I would like to know which of HDtrack's albums meet individual forum member's criteria for good sounding music. As a musician and pretty old school with regard to audio (Klipschorns, La Scala, JL Sub, and Mac Amps), I tend towards Preference rather than Reference. I am not particularly moved by graphical demonstrations. I am more likely to respond emotionally rather than intellectually - probably why I appreciate the presence of horn loaded speakers. All of my cds have been converted to FLAC and reside in a Qnap 219 and are played through a Linn Akurate DS. I have downloaded music from HDtracks, Linn Records, Channel Classics, and ITrax. I have also ripped most of my DVD Audios using DVD Extractor with decent results. I continue to play my Vinyl on my Thorens TD125 MKII turntable. As I am always looking for good Hi-Res music, any positive reviews of HDtracks products would be greatly appreciated. I am well aware of the current criticisms of Dave's site on this forum. Thanks, Mike
