I just went from a Benchmark DAC2 HGC to the Direct Stream (Sr.). While I really enjoyed the DAC2, the Direct Stream is in another league, in my system, at least. I had no idea digital could sound this good. In fact, I just sold my vinyl rig! Torrey's Final sounds great to me, although I only listened to Yale for a while, so can't really offer a meaningful comparison. Looking forward to the next OS.
