  1. Hello all! Happily just found this forum I am a hobby composer who uses Cubase 6 and various software orchestral libraries to write music. I am looking to upgrade my current 5.1 logitech z-5500 speakers to some 2.1 KRK Rokit's, but am in need of a sound card/DAC that sounds great, AND has ASIO sound drivers (for Cubase 6 it is necessary) My plan is to purchase 2 KRK studio monitors AND a KRK Subwoofer, so the DAC would need to be able to accomodate this. I am looking for advice on what DAC would be best for this. I run Win 7 64-bit with an i2500K CPU & have 16GB of RAM if that matters. I would say my budget is $250-$350 I should also mention that I live in Ontario, and would prefer to purchase from a store, my nearest store is a " Long and McQuades", and here is there selection: http://www.long-mcquade.com/departments/49/Pro_Audio_Recording/Soundcards.htm Any advice/insights greatly appreciated! cheers, Caddie
