Qobuz Feature Requests
jaaptina replied to The Computer Audiophile's topic in Networking, Networked Audio, and Streaming
Playlist for albums: a playlist that contains only albums as album and not as separate tracs. That way I could make f.e. a Jazz playlist that contains al my favorite jazz albums without me having to scroll through hundreds of tracs. This would be a killer feature in my book. Until than I create my Jazz albums playlist by filling it with first tracs of said favourite albums. But that's a hassle. Saving the tracks and going from track selection to album selection to play an album. -
Bubbleupnp Server on the sms-200 might do that for you.

Room correction options for speakers with digital inputs
jaaptina replied to Skirmash's topic in General Forum
Minidsp SHD Studio is a great sounding dsp unit. It's very customisable. You can experiment with the target curve. I'm using it with two outputs to main dac and power amp and a third output to a secondary dac and subwoofer. The SHD Studio controls volume and applies high and low pass filters and delay for main amp and sub. -
That's it! I've checked Openhome and now the non-UPnP/AV is back. Thank you very much!

Thanks for your response. Openhome is unchecked.

Hi, I use sms-200 in mpd/DLNA mode and Bubbleupnp as control point. I used to get to choose between two renderers 1) sms200 and 2) sms200-UPnP/AV. The first one is very responsive. The UPnP/AV one takes time to respond. I always used the first one and had no problems. However since a few days I only get to see the 2nd renderer. I can't find anything that is changed. I did a few reboots to no avail. Any ideas how to get the first none UPnP/AV renderer back?

Cisco Meraki MS220 with no license
jaaptina replied to Tatang's topic in Networking, Networked Audio, and Streaming
I've got the Meraki without licence. Works like a charm and sounds better than my former regular switch. -
I have been using SHD Studio for a few years now. Recently I added a Sotm sms-200. Inside the SHD I removed the sd-card from the pi board and removed the cable between pi and the SHD board. That way the pi board is disabled. The SHD still functions as before. However without ethernet input and without Volumio. SHD and the sotm sms-200 are powered by the same 12V Sbooster. It seems after disabling the pi adding the Sbooster has a positive effect on the sound where it didn't matter before. Comparing both set ups isn't possible. But to my ears the setup with the Sotm sounds clearly better. Better separation and more real.

USPCB A>B Adapters can now be ordered at UpToneAudio.com!
jaaptina replied to Superdad's topic in UpTone Audio (Sponsored)
Today I made a very short (5 inch) USB cable out of a USPCB and the USB-c side of a Supra USB cable. Removed the USB-b connector from the USPCB and soldered the Supra's wires onto it. The result certainly sounds better than the 3ft AQ Cinnamon I used before. -
Hi, I'm new to the SMS-200. What is the use case for the Tidal integration in Eunhasu? I use Bubbleupnp as control point. So I use Bubbleupnp to connect to Tidal. It seems I don't need the Tidal login on Eunhasu. If so when would I use Tidal on Eunhasu?
