Can this be done? Audirvana 2+ has a "releasing playback" (back to iTunes) function when switching to stream tracks directly from Apple Music. Any non-iTunes players out there that will allow streaming Apple Music tracks to play directly?

Since upgrading to 10.9 mavericks, Airfoil no longer picks up and transmits Audirvana feed. (Mavericks 10.9 & Audirvana+ 1.5.10 & Airfoil 4.8.2b1) ...whether or not I launch audirvana or airfoil first.... Airfoil working fine w iTunes alone, Safari, Quicktime, Radium.... Any thoughts?

Hello all. I have a secondary bedroom system with the REGA DAC, Naim XS, and Kudos X2s (source is wireless Apple TV audio optical into the DAC from the main MBPro / PureMusic / iTunes library) I'm planning a small vintage Naim system in the office: Naim NAP 140, HiCap, and NAC 72 into Royd Albions. Source is MBPro USB. Would members suggest the Meridian Explorer or the Rega DAC here as well? Listening levels will almost never be loud. Thanks

Perhaps u can help me. I have the RME fireplace 400. haven't used it in a long time -- MBPros still had FireWire! Currently w Mountain Line OS 10.8 and MBPro w USB only. Can u guide steps to digitize some selected vinyl for me? (first of all, how to connect FF400?). Don't want to digitize entire vinyl collection. UsingRega P9/IOS stage/252 Naim preamp and PureMusic... Would buy Pure Vinyl is necessary. many thanks d

1. How does one connect 2011 Thunderbolt Mac Mini to Weiss DAC202? Is thunderbolt to firewire adapter required / available? 2. Also, would one connect DAC (Ayre QB9 or Weiss DAC202) to a Naim NAC 202 preamp Aux input? Thanks.

What can I add to Mac Mini? Please suggest the blanks: MMini w big HD, or small HDD/SSD + big external 1-2 TB [blank] (+ iTunes or it's contemporaries to rip/serve/play/shuffle/download/surf/stream) Connect MMini to DAC by/with [blank] DAC unit is [blank] (Ayre maybe?) New member and 1st post. While I know to some this may defeat the point of CA, I am curious as to the theoretical rationale for ditching my Naim CDX2/XPS and replacing with a Mac Mini (2011 Lion) + a DAC (USB, FireWire, etc...no idea yet) and using the Mac to still spin CDs.... (not so much into dumping CDs to HDD or SSD for serving....). Is that being a CA "purist"? For what it's worth, I am 36 hours into rediscovering the vinyl I grew up with, on a new Rega P9.... (currently weeping as a pile of joyful musical mush resplendent with new musical detail and transparency)..... So you get then idea that the magic of one's sound world is what drives me here, not the tech per se..... What else will I need to connect the DAC to a Naim 202 preamp?
