  1. Thanks Audiopop, That s quite important.is there a way around that that you know of? Thanks again, Gye
  2. Thanks so much. I think I had it in my head that the USB DAC needed to be connected to the actual compter to take over certain functions properly but I can now see how that can happen wirelessly just as easy. I was missing something - thank you. Good idea to start with the AP-E that will give me more time to sort out what DAC will sound as good as my trusty Meridian 508! Any thoughts? Thanks again, Gye
  3. I have searched for ages for what I though would be a common question - thus I may have missed it.. I want to turn my CD collection into FLAC on Windows 7, buy a decent USB DAC and wirelessly send music to my Audiolab pre, biamps and speakers. From the forums I can get great ideas for ripping, Windows setup, good dac's and wireless but how can i send the music information wireless after the USB DAC? Does the USB DAC return the converted music to the computer to be sent by the computers internal WiFi to something like airport express at my amp?? Do I need something to plug into the output stage of the DAC to connect to Airport express? Am I missing something? - any help appreciated! Gye
