Hi! Does anyone know why optical out doesn't work in my new macmini server? I have hdmi connected to my tv and would like to connect optical cable to dacmagic, then to my NAD. But it doesn't seem possible.. Any idea? Thanks!

Today I woke up, no more stuttering... The strange thing, that I turned on/off integer mode, maximum device buffer, set the buffer size at 256 or 1024, but absolutely nothing changes, nothing happens. Is it ok? Anyway, now it seems that stuttering dissapeared. Something else: vlc doesn't have sound anymore, even if I shut down bitrate, launch only vlc and no sound (not with optical, not with built-in speakers, not with earphones...) Thanks

Hi, (sorry for my English..) I have just purchased BitPerfect. I have a MB (2009-unibody-2gb ram), through the optical out it is connected to a dacmagic, then to a NAD receiver. The program seems to work properly, but when I play a 24/96 song starts stuttering (hope this is the right word - small gaps during playback). I have tried all setup possibilities (buffer size, use/don't use maximum buffer, etc), but seems they don't make any effect. Thanks for any advice!
