    Hi there KazmanN, My recommendation would be the FiiO E7. This little chinese gadget is a true hi-fi performer. It has a DAC that will ultimately keep you at 16bit CD quality, but then so would the NuForce uDac2 that you mentioned. It boasts great build quality and even a screen. I was seriously considering to go for the NuForce uDac2 just as you, until I stumbled on the E7. Good thing I did! I recently got an E7 to go with my MacBook and Ultrasone PRO 900's, and I'm really enjoying the sound improvements with my Mac and my iPod. I'm not into gaming (yet), but I also needed a good portable solution for listening to my collection on the go.
