  1. I got a similar response from them a few weeks ago. Hearing the wishes of their customer base (and future customers) will only motivate them more. " The ability to playback standard DSD or SACD ISO file is being investigated, but at this time we do not know if these features will be added to the player due to licensing or other software and/or hardware restrictions. Best Regards, Customer Service OPPO Digital, Inc. "
  2. Two Questions: 1) Any recommendations for brand of removable media (DVD-R's) to use? Any brands to avoid? 2) Here's a hypothetical scenario: * I backup one of my sacd's to ISO and store on HDD. * I burn the ISO to a DVD-R after my original SACD breaks. * My PS3 breaks. * The HDD storing the original ISO dies. After such an string of bad luck, can I re-backup the burned DVD-R to ISO for later reburning with something like DVDFab? Or will my computer think it is an SACD and fail to read it, just like it fails to read the original?
  3. I'm not talking about converting SACD to a DVD-Audio backup. I mean in my collection of shiny discs, I have far more DVD-A and SACD. I am really fond of your theories. I will see if I can send my 2 yr old son into my 93 to hunt for elves. I'll get back to you.
  4. Thanks for the insight. Fortunately the greater share of my collection is DVD-A and the Oppo handles properly cloned ISO's with ease from a USB drive. Still, I will be keeping my fingers crossed for this.
  5. I don't suppose it has been solved yet how to access a PS3 Ripped SACD ISO from an attached hard drive with the Oppo 93... That would be supreme.
