  1. My endpoint is a Rhein Z1 (Silence Angel) which modded with Jcat XE USB card output and DC4 power inside. It run its owned OS, and can be a server or UPNP endpoint depending on setup.
  2. Hi there, I currentlty play 2 machines: Stylus server ver3 + UPNP endpoint (embedded chip PC), the resuls is much better than Stylus server alone. My question is: should I install Euphony endpoint to the endpoint machine?. Is Euphony endpoint really better than UPNP?
  3. I still keep Euphony ver3. Yesterday I tried to change from Stylus to Roon core on Euphony, but could not log in Roon's account. Roon app indicated "Unauthorized: Please enter your account's password properly", even I typed it correctly many times. Is problem caused by Euphony ver3 (no longer support Roon?) or Roon itself?
  4. I suggest to try slot pcie 1 for Optane, slot 2 for Net XE, slot 3 for USB XE. This way, slot 3 is not direct to CPU, but let’s the XE USB work first.
  5. Mine is Asus z590 mobo and I had the same problem with XE usb card but it had been solved by upgrading firmware for the card.
  6. Hi, Anyone kindly help. I changed my OS drive to a new Optane drive. My music which is stored in another drive is now no longer found. I can still explore it and see music folder in File Manager but can not import to Library. Only “format” is available. Then I formated it, and copy new files again, but it still did’n work. My external drives are easy to import:
  7. I had been a year with bartok and a Nuc. The best sound to my ears is Stylus via Sablon USB cable to the Bartok. The 2nd choice is Roon + StylusEP -> usb->Bartok which’s better bass and dynamic with an exchange of true timble. Both are better than Roon core to Bartok via ethernet. Just my 2 cents!
  8. Update: my Jcat Usb XE only works with PCIe #3, and neither with #1 nor #2. Mobo: asus Z590e.
  9. you can press Power button of the server once to exit "disconnect mode"
  10. I have the same problem. Tried hard but Jcat usb XE could not work with euphony. my mainboard is Asus rog strix z590-e
  11. @LebouwskyI got the Hdplex H5 ver 3 and tried to install the Asus Z590. As you can see the photos below, the long base of copper block can fit well, but it nearly touch the capacitors (about 2mm to touch), and I’m not sure if heat of the base could affect the capacitor. Any thought?
  12. Hi, I’ve bought the Rog Strix Z590-E and just ordered the new H5 as well. I will report to you once I got the H5 (ready stock to my country) But from below photos, I dont think we have troubles with the long base of new heatsink.
  13. @StreamFidelity: I have separate DC rails for CPU, Jcat USB XE, and Jcat net XE. The DC-ATX is for mobo only which makes me feel it would be a waste to just use Taiko DCATX like that way. I read about the Taiko DCATX a bit late, after having finalized the dc power solution.
  14. I read good things about taiko dc-atx, but it seems working best with high voltage unregulated LPS as many members here suggested, whereas mine is DC4 19v 10A.
  15. Tks for the good news @elan120 I'm going to order a HDPLEX 400W DC-ATX Converter as well, because the 800W DC-ATX is out of stock. Do you think the 400W converter is good enough? My server is Z590 mobo and 11900K, the DC-ATX and EPS/CPU are fed by dedicated rail of DC4 19V and 12v respectively
