  1. I am using one of the cheaper dlink routers (N150 DIR601)It is compact and the setup was very straight forward.
  2. I would go for the Auraliti PK100 and connect straight to the alpha DAC via spdif. I personally chose the auraliti over the bryston. I thought the auraliti was well designed and did not feel it was worth the extra cash to upgrade to the bryston (mainly for better case work and power supplies). I have heard that auraliti may have a power supply upgrade in the works.
  3. Hmmm... I thought the clock in the PK100 was for the built in DAC and analog outputs? I dont think the PK90 has analog outputs so need for clock. Is this not correct??
  4. Hi All, Which one would be better in terms of sound quality, or is it a wash? I would use the PK90 via a halide bridge (wavelength asynch USB code) to the coaxial input on my DAC. The PK100 would go straight to to my DAC via coaxial. I dont need sample rates above 96/24. Thanks!
  5. No, just the auraliti as a music player with the T+A as outboard DAC.
  6. Hello Barrows, Thanks for the reply. I am using a T+A Elektroaksutik Music player V.1 connected via a coaxial digital cable (cheap belkin with a bnc-rca adapter). Here is a link to a datasheet for my DAC: http://www.taelektroakustik.de/fileadmin/pdf/archiv/e-serie/MUSIC_PLAYER_EN.pdf I have not yet contacted auraliti about this. Thought if they reply to this thread the info will be available for others as well. Thanks!
  7. Hello, I could use some help from auraliti and the more experienced computer audio users on this forum: I have setup my PK100 with digital output to an outboard DAC. When I play music with higher sample rates (96khz) my DAC does not display the change in sample rate. Prior to the auraliti I was using a computer with jriver and a halide bridge to connect to my DAC. In this configuration my DAC would display the correct sample rate with my high resolution music files. Has anybody here experienced the same problem? Can anybody help explain what is going on and how to correct the problem?? Thanks in advance!
  8. Hello, Has anybody compared the two? I know the Grace has more features/inputs but I am interested mainly in the USB DAC. I understand wavelength does the code for USB for the Grace M903. Thanks Sam
  9. Hello All, I am looking for dacs to replace/upgrade my arcam rdac. The Mytek is in the right price range and looks interesting. Can anybody comment on the USB async implementation? It seems as though many dacs are claiming USB async. Thanks!
