hello I am using Win Server 2019 in Core-mode. Its a one-box solution, running Audiophile Optomizer with HQplayer and Roonserver and Fdelizer. running headless with microsoft remote desktop. All running smothly, very stable with great sound. now i need some advice with the Firewall. At AO installation i chose not to disable the windows defender. Now when i look in the firewall-configuration netsh advfirewall show allprofiles the firewall is off. I am not a windowsgeek...sorry for my stupid question, but i am worried about a windowsserver- all time running with no firewall. in the same home network with the music-nas and my other computers? do i have to change... thanks for helping

@AudioPhil hi i am running win server 2019 in core mode. it’s a one box solution with Jcat Xe usb to a dac. roonserver, hqplayer and fidelizer are running. The machine is headless. At the moment it’s Autologin- and fidelizer is starting Hqplayer and roonserver. should I start a shellreplacement in core mode? and how? Only fidelizer she’ll replacement? Or should I build my own? With all Programms... can you advice best practice. Thank you

@seeteeyou the asmediadriver was already installed. So the card is working but I still have the exclamation mark at pci-card? i did. what you suggeted before more than once already but it stays like this....more ideas? ——just for information. The JCAT is the only pci-card in the machine....

AO in Core mode server2019... I am blown away from the sound...thank you so much..best sound ever at my home... after fiddling around - you're installation advice for win server 2019 in core is kind of small- I like to perfekt the net- adapter. its shown for the gui version under Network Tuning..... .....Open properties of the network card used for JPLAY StreamerMode and open TCP/IPv4 properties. Uncheck everything under DNS and WINS, disable NetBIOS over TCP/IP.... how can I do this in core mode... thanks

HI I like to go wit AO on a win 2019 server in core mode.. already installed the FOD. the Jcat was picky in win 10 but now in server core mode I can't get it to run. so there is no driver for this card and the only option is delete the card in the device manager unplug it and try to reinstall...but for me at the moment without any success. Hardware: Asus Pro WS C246-ACE Intel Xeon E-2276G @ 3.80GHz Jcat XE usb Sngxer Dac Software: Win Server Standard 2019 in Core !! FOD Aplicaton Compatbilty Asus Manboard driver for 2019 server singxer driver 5.0 standard USB ports are fne and playing with HQplayer but XE stais with exclamation mark in the device manager ... thanks for input

I killed hyperthreading and turbo-mode...now it’s gone...

??? Asus is ja ist providing a chipset driver package for this workstation board. but network seems to work just fine and I have no problems shown in the devicemanager.
