I'm still having frequent issues with false starts - tracks plays for two seconds then restart. Sometimes it gets a hiccup where it repeats the first two seconds of a track ad infinitum. I'm also having occasional crashes of BP, and often iTunes requires a force quit to exit. Overall it is very frustrating and BP is pretty much unusable at this point. Hoping for better luck with the next release.

Thx, next time I'm having serious issues I'll grab the Console data for you. Looks like the data only goes back two days. 1) I don't see an option for wireless streaming in iTunes, but I'm not using it for playback. I'm using an external drive via USB 2) Already at lowest 3) Not enabled 4) I installed soundflower, but I'm not sure why. Does BP use this?

Hmmm, well I'm having a rough day with BP. Tracks stopping midway, or jumping to the next track when the previous one isn't finished, or just locking up iTunes such that I have to force quit. Also having an issue where it plays the first 2 seconds of a track, then plays it again, and then again, ad infinitum. I'm having to quit iTunes/BP and relaunch often to get things working again. Something seems to mess up over time, especially if one A/Bs a lot (e.g. changing tracks back and forth for comparison listening). A memory issue perhaps? Seriously thinking of setting my DAC to 24/96 via Audio MIDI and just using iTunes bare-bones. Maybe if I upgrade to Lion with the 64 bit iTunes it'll be fine anyway.

Sure, I'll send another email so we can troubleshoot the crashing issue. I'm monitoring the stuttering/skipping issue. It has improved a lot since 0.32, though perhaps it's the same issue but instead of stuttering it is crashing outright. Who knows...

I'm using BitPerfect with a Moon 100D via toslink with mixed success. I'm having issues with stuttering, skipping and false starts (plays 2-3 seconds, then restarts the track). Lately with version .32 the stuttering issue has improved somewhat, though it has been completely crashing frequently such that a tune will stop playing midway through. I wonder whether some of these issues may be related to the fact that my tunes are playing from an external drive that goes into Eco mode / spin down after 5 minutes (a Lacie Rikiki). I'm using that drive via USB2 port (with a USB3 cable).
