  1. Thanks Mercman. I will probably get Mortar power supply. I keep seeing that recommendation on this and other forums. I want to dig a bit to get some details on the unit and how it helps the sound. I am pretty ignorant on the whole power supply issue... Then, on to USB cables...
  2. Hey thanks for your comments. Your comparison in re Wavelength's precision and smoothness give me more confidence that this is would be a good upgrade. I'm gonna give Brick v3 a try. Also thanks for the info in re the tube swaps. So much to learn....
  3. I'd agree, but .... I don't want to start another Mac-PC war.
  4. I've heard many good things about the Wavelength Brick DAC so I am very interested in the v3 since it is 24/96 capable and in my price range. My only concern is that I see very few comments in regards to the v3, although I read a lot about the v2. Would be interested in other's comments on the v3 and/or their comparisons with other USB DACS in that price range. Any comments in re running in 24-bit would be especially appreciated. Thanks. PS: I use a MacBook Pro running Apple Lossless files via iTunes. I say this because the Brick seems particularly Mac friendly. My current DAC is an UltraFi iRoc which sounds good but I've not much to compare it to.
