  1. Dear Lucretius Not sure what is your name and how are you obtaining the information you are posting here, but your posts seems to be intentionally misleading. To set the record straight: HEM was a contract manufacturer of Mytek products. Same as Foxconn is for Apple. HEM DID NOT "design" them, all technology, DSD, MQA, sound quality and creative ideas such as aluminum panels are Mytek's and come from our brains in New York. They never had the kind of expertise needed to design audiophile equipment or understanding of the requirements of audiophile market. The owner, Marcin Hamerla doesn't even have a pair of speakers in his house. This is not what they do, they manufacture electronics, do low level engineering and firmware programming, solder boards, assemble boxes and pack them. Same way like Foxconn makes the iphones. Specifications for all this always came from Mytek. Whatever they have learned about high end audio, they learned from Mytek. We have given them distribution of Mytek products in EU in 2004 and this turned out to be a strategic mistake. 3 years ago they decided to break agreement with us and pretend they are the Mytek in Europe, financial greed being the motivation. This is why we are where we are: in court waiting for resolution later this year. We will maintain this policy going forward: https://mytek.audio/contact We are terribly sorry some customers got caught in the middle, we want to assure everybody that the new product line this time made exclusively by Mytek without HEM will be superior to anything Mytek made to date and without any such liabilities. Our new product line is the most advanced and ambitious we ever attempted. Particularly new DAC/streamers. We are growing our own design team and have a new factory. All customers who may have doubts should contact us directly for full continued support on the Mytek products they own or for the upgrade path towards future products.     can Mytek Liberty process MQA  streams over its Optical input?

    I have Bluesound Node 2i and i want to connect it to MQA  certified external DAC.

If not please tell me the ticket nr or if not, please do this so we can get in direct contact. This seems to be specific troubleshooting case , rather than topic of interest for larger public forum.   4. Hello, Michal, the main designer at Mytek here. I was made aware of this thread and maybe can help. I'd say that we need more information to troubleshoot your case, for the moment it seems like, it can be anything, computer , sonic orbiter, Mytek bug in their firmware or drivers etc. Typically 9 of 10 similar cases are quickly resolved by proper troubleshooting and setting up the software properly. Mytek has a tech support system which is attended daily by a dedicated engineer: https://mytekdigital.com/hifi/support/ An email address is needed so if possible I would like to ask Kipdent to copy and paste the first post into our tech support system, and our tech support technician will trouble shoot this with you. If phone call is needed we will call you. We have many customers using similar Sonic Orbiter setup and I don't remember this ever being an issue, so I hope your problem can be permanently resolved. We have emailed you multiple times (from gmail servers) , yet it appears that for some reason you are not receiving our emails. Actually the original complaint in this thread is related to to same: we sent emails and apparently you have not received them. So, I hope that before you post publicly here again, you look into fixing your email and if this doesn't work please please pick up the phone and call me at 347-384 2687. We are not doing any service to anybody in this forum by trying to sort out this type of stuff publicly.   7. Hi Steve Yes, now that you quoted the email detail I did find the email in the storeus mailbox. This is separate from the main hifi@, manned by the person running store- sorry it fell through the cracks Looked at Gustard- the sample accurate clock sync between the units is critical for phase accurate surround playback. With Mytek DACs it's achieved via word clock sync, most consumer DACs don't have that, I guess the mentioned mod is meant to address the sync? Good luck with the setup. Best Regards, Michal
  8. Hi JJkale- do you mind sending the email again?- I just searched email inbox for the last 2 months of content and did not find yours. We use gmail with its spam control and have found this to be sometimes a problem with some email not getting to us sometimes. Yes Manhattan and two Brooklyn is a great surround setup- I don't know of any other setup that will play surround DSD SACD and surround MQA files with such fidelity. Best, Michal at Mytek

I'm the main person in charge in the US and will try to help you resolve this quickly. I apologize if we weren't able to respond quickly or may have missed some inquiries or phone calls. The last two months were particularly challenging for us as we just completed 3 trade shows in a month (CES, NAMM and Canjam) and launched a new product, Clef. I myself was 10 times on a plane in January. All this coincided with Tidal launching MQA and with Brooklyn being today the only practical good sounding DAC with MQA decoder we were slammed by both Brooklyn sales and technical and MQA inquiries. We are now back and catching up , hopefully being more responsive. The system you have used, OS ticket is our main tech support system threaded system manned by Slawomir in Poland, our EU office. In addition some people email our main email hifi aaatt mytekdigital.com which is generally answered by US offices. There is also a tel nr in Brooklyn. I'd say if someone doesn't get through the first time, try again or call, you will be taken care off. As for your particular case, from the context I'd guess, Slawomir misread your location (thinking you are in EU where shipping to Poland is easy, fast and cheap- no borders), typically he will ask inquiries from US to deal with our office here. It sounds like your unit is broken and can be repaired, please email me at the above email (hifi@) and we'll issue an RMA where you can send the unit to Brooklyn.   12. MQA Update: We have the MQA compliant firmware pretty much tested and ready to release - we are waiting to close few licensing formalities with MQA LTD and except to release the new firmware with MQA Decoder enabled sometimes next week. Thank you for the patience Michal at Mytek New York
  13. We guarantee it'll work with last 2 operating systems. Other systems especially recent will most likely work, but this has to be tried but the user. Regards, Michal
  14. Hello Everybody A clarification here: Mytek Policy is to support two last operating system versions. So theoretically for Windows it'd be Win 10 and Win 8. However- we will provide the control panel for Win7 for the time being, because it's a still very popular OS, but this is really a practical exception to this general rule. Regards, Michal at Mytek
  15. Hello MB. We were discussing this here and trying to understand what blu vs white are you referring to? Are these the white fields and lines on the main display that look on the photos slightly tv- blueish and you would like them more blue than white? We are open to suggestions about the display layout/functionality/ergonomics/color , we are excepting to continue introducing enhancing changes in both the menu and control panel.
