  1. Hi, I have a PC win7 home and ITunes. I just purchased a Cambridge Audion CXN V2 steamer and connected it via Ethernet to the home network. It finds ITunes and the music but cannot see the playlists. I read ear that I need to run ITunes in a NAS with ITunes server capability in order to access playlists. No problem as Back ups is a good idea. I purchased a synology Nas 216se. How do I transfer and set up the iTunes server?
  2. I meant to add you can buy the MiniStack enclosure only and add your HDD
  3. I have a 480gb ssd from OWC for the MM and a firewire800 2tb MiniStack from OWC for storage. It's the same form factor as the MM and runs silent and cool. The MM also runs cooler with only a ssd. Fan noise is massively reduced compared to having it all on a spinning HD in the MM previously.
  4. I use one of these https://eshop.macsales.com/shop/Thunderbolt/Dock/OWC/Thunderbolt2-Dock/ It has the advantage of freeing up the Mac USB bus and not using the Mac power supply to charge iPhones etc
  5. Happy to report the Lenehan PDX L2 works fine with integer and A+ and the new official M2tech Hiface1/Mavericks driver 8 months later;)
  6. Don't mention foot tapping..... Unless you have Niam gear apparently......PEOME is what it's all about!!!! Any how.... So Happy the Pdx did well..... Aussies make great engineers......Especially in my field. My PDXL2 is by far the best Dac I've owned. And yes I know the new PDX is different......... Well done to Bill and Mike, the man hours involved for this was huge...... Thankyou so much. I can only hope to hear the phasure and Killer one day
  7. Lenehan Audio PDXL2 with LiPo battery powered Hiface1 USB now works with Mavericks and A+ Direct Integer ........thanks to Hacked Northstar Mavericks young driver........
  8. It worked for me too..... Thanks to Huy.
  9. Hi Huy, Mine says exactly as your example with the red arrows but it is not recognised by system pref or audio midi. I have a hiface1 installed into the my pdxl2 dad as its only source.
  10. Looks interesting. Anyone tried it? Daphile ? Digital Music Convenience for Audiophiles.
  11. I cringe at the fact religion was mentioned at all in a press release!!!!...... I truly hope they get they're act together as they make good products.
  12. I've tried and tried .....hoping this would work. my "Idproduct" says 37643 but still no go. No Hiface or anything recognised by my Mac. I have an oem battery powered hiface 1 installed in a PDXL2 dac. Its all upto the "non Christian" software guy M2Tech had working over Christmas !!!!!!!
  13. After being on the receiving end of unscrupulous software designers in the past I say name and shame the individual so he/she doesn't do it again if this really happened. It's not rocket surgery to backwards engineer a driver from the codes Chord have surely....... Give it to a 15yo software hacker and bingo. Damage is already done to M2Tech, it's how they conduct themselves that will make/break them. Go down fighting will save face at least. I have a worthless $4k dac until this gets sorted ..........
  14. Contact Chord and have them put pressure on M2Tech for new drivers, it's the only way.
  15. Got this email from Metrum Acoustics: We had contacted M2tech regarding the Mavericks issue directly after the launch of the new OS. They had promised to address the issue then, and started a status page addressing the issue (http://www.m2tech.biz/hiface.html#driver) We had however, after hearing nothing from them regarding the issue over the period of two weeks, decided to put some more pressure on them this morning. I will inform you, and our other customers facing the same issue, about their reaction. Kind regards
