Hi Everybody, (I am using Device 2) I got part way through the setup and now it won't allow me to see the Volumio.Local.....and on top of that in JRiver & with the Ip scanner software, it's showing two instances of the device. There must be a conflict of some kind. The funny thing is I can stream music to the device from my JRiver server. I am using the wifi dongle with it..... Thanks, any help is appreciated.

This whole discussion is also like debating the sound difference between 44.1 & 96 - if the musicianship, recording & mastering are top notch than the format/technology sort of becomes irrelevant. I suppose the resolution of your system (meaning price) could also possibly reveal differences between formats and compression types.

Are all bits created equal? So many variables when creating a FLAC/WAV file........I think more than compressed or NON-compressed related issues, the recording/mastering plays such a huge factor in the final product.

It could possibly be my imagination but when I re-ripped my collection in WAV format I could perceive an increase in clarity and overall widening of the soundstage......I mean storage is so cheap, why not?

Hi Windows X, My Comment: I've been living with your Fidelizer 2.0 for a few months now and I have to say I can't listen to my music server without it. The sound stage is wider and more airy, the bass is bigger and warmer. Overall it does make a tremendous difference........ My Question: You mention version 2.1, but the download from your site when downloaded shows ver 2.0.....could you clarify? Thanks, Erik

Has anybody had any luck playing 24/96 files (ALAC or FLAC) in this software? 16/44 files play fine but the 24/96 play slowly...... Erik

A friend of a friend bought some $10K sub-woofer, took it home to his listening room in his basement, set it up and did a small listening test at low levels. Next thing he knows, his neighbour is ringing his doorbell asking if he's okay because he (the neighbour) thinks a bomb has exploded or something....

Asking people's opinions whether a serious 2-channel rig should include a subwoofer? Thanks! Erik

Has anybody done this? I've been trying but all I can output is a 24-bit/44.1kHz WAV or FLAC file (nothing high rez).

Actually I'm using DBpoweramp with success, so far the files I've converted and listened too seem to be fine. Thanks though.
