Hi everyone I am new to Mac / itunes . I have always used PC in the past and after reading through these forums decided to go mac mini and wavelink route. I have myriad of music from different genres and countries. Main problem I have is with lot of Indian music CD's which are not there in freeDB/ CDDB . Whats the best file structure I can choose in XLD so that each CD stays in one folder and will be seen as one album in itunes also even if it is read as unkown? I ripped one CD with file structure %A/%T/%n%t This forms a folder unkown title in media folder. When I change the name of the folder to actual album name - the itunes still displays unkown? Whats the easiest way for me to deal with these albums ? How do you use amazon web service to get meta data /cover art. I entered the amazon web service keys in XLD settings but there is no option to use it if freeDB doesnt show any database? Thanks again

I am setting up a new music server after getting lots of info on this forum . I just got a Mac mini and 2TB external firewire hard drive and moved the itunes media folder to the ext hard drive and the went to itunes file- library - > organize library. I did delete the media folder on in ternal hard drive. I ripped a CD via XLD ( i chose the option to automatically add to itnues library if possible in XLD) .I didnt like the file structure of the ripped songs/album so I deleted the whole album folder from ext hard drive itunes media folder. But when I opened itunes all the songs were still there and they played as well? So where are these songs stored? How do I know if they are playing from ext hard drive or internal drive? What settings should I change Thanks Mani
