  1. My Digione Signature, no sound. Rpi 4 with moOde player with standard RPI 4 wall wart connected to dirty side and Nirvana connected to clean side. Had this unit since late August 2020. Beginning in November seemed the audio output didn't sound correct and would play for several minutes and then stop. I would reboot the RPI and most times that seemed to work. However, at this point there is no sound at all / anytime. Have tried a second Rpi 4 and Rpi 3 board with same result with fresh sd card / images. Is there any troubleshooting steps I can take to identify the source of the problem?
  2. I am having a similar issue with my Allo Digione Signature, no sound. Rpi 4 with moOde player with standard RPI 4 wall wart connected to dirty and Nirvana connected to clean side. Had this unit since late August 2020. Beginning in November seemed the audio output didn't sound correct and would play for several minutes and then stop. I would reboot the RPI and most times that seemed to work. However, at this point I am not able to have any audio output. Any suggestions?
  3. Would like to verify the voltage and current of the Kali and Piano 2.1 boards as I have a new PSU. Has anyone taken measurements of the Kali and or Piano 2.1?
  4. Have sent PM to Allo as requested included some documentation no reply to date. I know they are shipping product but don't if office staff is back to work. Does anyone in the Allo community know if sales and support staff are back to work?
  5. To Allo support Working with someone directly on your support team has been most helpful. He had make measurements of my board ( please see attached ) and it seems the board is bad. He told me I would hear back from someone in Sales once the office has opened. Could I get an update my particular case as I have gone 3 months with no music and really need to get a replacement Digi HAT. Thanks 20200425 Digi Sig measurements.pdf
  6. I used command line to check status. Here is the result. Does this mean the board has a fault? pi@moode:~ $ aplay -l **** List of PLAYBACK Hardware Devices **** card 0: sndallodigione [snd_allo_digione], device 0: Allo DigiOne HiFi wm8804-spdif-0 [Allo DigiOne HiFi wm8804-spdif-0] Subdevices: 0/1 Subdevice #0: subdevice #
  7. Since late 2018 the Digi One Signature worked just fine. It is not used a more than an hour a week so can't imagine what could be wrong. Beginning two weeks ago I noticed the sound would work and other times it would not. Meaning there is no sound output. Typically, I run the coaxial output into my Anthem AV processor but I have also tried another dac minidsp 2x4 hd which is known to be working. I am running moOde 6.4.2 player and the Sig is mounted in a RPI3b v1.2. Please let me know if there are any steps on my end to try or perhaps or maybe some command line commands to produce diagnostic details. Many thanks.
  8. I would like to connect psu directly to the 2 pin male header on the Kali. Can some suggest a supplier of a compatible female connector that will allow me to run wires from psu to the Kali. Thanks
  9. Been using a Monoprice portable charger to power my Piano 2.1 DAC for about a year. So far I am pleased with the results. I am planning to buy a transport either DigiOne or Signature and would like to know if there are battery charger specifications I need to pay attention. Many thanks Here is what I am using for the Piano 2.1. https://www.monoprice.com/product?p_id=15120
  10. Having trouble with Piano 2.1 with Kali. Internet radio stations play white noise. I liked it at first but I am over it now. Have heard there is a problem with the kernel 4.14 and Allo driver. Is that true? Is there a work around? Thanks for your help
  11. Thanks to all of those in the community that feed the beast that has become CA. Way to go Chris!
  12. If anyone has experience getting Moode NAS functionality to work with Synology DS415 play NAS. When I configure MoOde NAS source I get a green check mark but no music files are displayed in the Library or Play view. I am using NFS filshare protocol. I suspect the NAS permissions / mounting subfolders may be the culprit.
