  1. Has anyone tried using SVS subs (like the SB-1000) in a swarm configuration? Would there be any problems splitting the signal that many times to support four subs? I think the AudioKinesis uses a single external sub? I would like to learn more about your experience with the AudioKinesis Swarm subs.
  2. I have been reading the forms and to be honest some of this is a little over my head, but I love the idea of computer based music. I have an iMac as a home computer and was thinking of adding a Mac Mini for computer audio. I'll add a DAC to pair with the Mac Mini (undecided yet on the DAC, but so many new products are coming to the market and prices are coming down). From my research, PureMusic seems like the best playback solution for the price. This is when I start to get confused. I would like to have a NAS music library that is accessible from both computers, will that create any problems? Can this also serve as a backup/timemachine for my desktop? There seems to be some consensus that at RAID5 or RAID6 is the way to go for the NAS. How should I back up the NAS? I have read all about FLAC and AIFF, Chris recommend an uncompressed copy as well as a compress copy. Since I have not use PureMusic yet I do not know the answer to this, how do you maintain several different copies of the music without mixing up the files? Can you rip both file types at the same time? Thanks for all the help
