  1. Thanks for the information Teresa. Do you have to convert the 24/192 files to 24/96 or do they come that way already? What program do you use to convert the 24/192 files to 24/96 format? Do you just keep a seperate file on your computer with the 24/192 files to hold them in reserve? Thanks, Chris
  2. I am a newbie and just trying to figure all of this out. I am a little confused about the different bit rates for FLAC files. My instinct is that bigger is better (24/192 is better than 24/96). But I am a little unsure on this. For example if I have a Peachtree Nova wich has a DAC cappable of processing 24/96 files, will it do any good to buy 24/192 files? Is there a chance of these files actually sounding worse due to some sort of conversion that must take place? I am almost sure that there must be a good discussion on this subject somewhere on the forum already - so if anyone could point me in the right direction to learn more about this subject, I would really appriciate it.
