This is my first post here, but I've been experimenting with computer servers for several years now.
I recently installed bootcamp on a new 8G mac mini, with the sole purpose of using foobar. I installed foobar and configured it (I've been using it for several months already on an old PC laptop with no problems). Music (about 300GB, all in either WAV or AIFF) is on an external USB 2 1TB. DAC is the firewire Weiss 2.
Playing music through foobar I often hear clicks. I do not hear any clicks when foobar is on and no files are played.
I do not hear any clicks using either pure music, fidelia or itunes on the mac partition. I also replaced the hard drive to one with an external ps. Lastly, I tried to play foobar with a higher priority on the task manager.
Any suggestions?
