Barry- Thanks for the reply. However, when you mentioned your "Maggies", I noted that at a top range of 40khz, there's twice as much top end extension available as on my speakers. Might I not be missing out on some this improvement, particularly with the jump from 24/96 to 24/192? ST8 Six

Barry- I've read that the bit rate is more important than sampling rate, but even if the sampling rate were equally important, would conventional tweeters extending up to 20kHz be sufficient to reproduce anything better than 16/44.1? -STR8 Six
